The Day the Mirrors Forgot Us

In Uzushio, every mirror now shows the last person who died in that room. The dead can move, but no sound crosses the glass.

Sixteen-year-old Hana has watched her drowned mother mouth the same words from the bathroom mirror for a year. Then mirrors in the next town begin forgetting the living too.

Hana believes her mother is warning her about something still to come. As the condition spreads room by room, she must learn whether the woman behind the glass predicts danger, remembers goodbye, or is saying what grief has trained Hana not to hear.

Some ghosts haunt a room; the faithful ones keep trying to reach us.
